Broadcasting events

GLORIA plans to carry out internet broadcasts of several astronomical events:

  • August 23rd−28th, 2014: Northern Lights. Location: Greenland (01.00−01.30 UT) and Iceland (23.30−24.00 UT) . It is +2 hours for CEST.
  • April 15th, 2014: Total Lunar Eclipse. Locations: Cusco, Peru & Teide Volcano, Spain. Time: from 8:30 to 9:10 and 10:20 to 10:35 CET.
  • November 3rd, 2013: Total Solar Eclipse. Location: Lake Turkana, Kenya. Time: from 14:20 to 14:30 UT (15:20 to 15:30 CET).
  • August 24th−29th, 2013: Northern Lights. Location: Greenland. Every night 1 hour: 00:30−01:30 UT (02:30−03:30 CEST).
  • November 13th , 2012: Total Solar Eclipse. Location: Oak Beach, Australia.
  • August 23rd−27th, 2012: Northern Lights. Location: Greenland. Every night 10 minutes: 01:00−01:10 (03:00−03:10 CEST).
  • June, 5th−6th 2012: Transit of Venus. Locations: Sapporo, Japan; Cairns, Australia; Tromsø, Norway.
