What is OM?
The OM (OM stands for “Observatorio Montegancedo”) is located in the Facultad de Informática (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), at the Campus de Montegancedo (28660 Boadilla del Monte, Madrid – Spain), more exactly at 40º25′ North Latitude and 3º45′ West Longitude (WGS84) (click at Google Maps).
The observatory specifications are listed below:
- Dome 3,5 meters diameter.
- Telescope 10″ Meade LX200GPS (night).
- Telescope Coronado (solar).
- Focuser.
- CCD Camera (DBK 41AU02.AS).
- CCD Camera (DMK 41AU02.AS).
- ToUcam Pro I and II Webcams, modified for taking long-exposure images.
