Technical diagnosis
Find the cause before adding another fix.
An alert from an SEO tool is a starting point, not a work order. A technical audit connects the evidence to the pages that matter to your business and shows what to do next.
Investigate a change or prepare a project
A loss of visibility, missing pages, a planned redesign or an accumulation of errors can justify an audit. We begin with what changed, which pages are affected and what you have noticed in the business.
We compare the site, server responses and available Search Console information. The purpose is to establish a credible explanation rather than select a cause from a list of warnings.
Choose the checks that fit the site
- Page access: HTTP responses, redirects, links and crawling obstacles.
- Indexing: robots directives, canonical URLs and sitemap consistency.
- Structure: how pages are organised and reached.
- Templates: headings, repeated elements and content available to search engines.
- Performance: loading and stability on the important page types.
The CMS, site size and access available determine the detail of the review. Specialist security, accessibility or server-log work is included only when agreed.
Turn a finding into an actionable instruction
“Canonical issue” is not enough for a developer to act on. A useful recommendation identifies the affected template, gives an example URL, explains the intended behaviour and sets out the check to repeat after the change.
Your findings distinguish confirmed errors, worthwhile improvements and questions that need further evidence. The action plan explains the suggested order and any dependencies.
Keep analysis and implementation clear
The audit does not trigger automatic changes. Implementation has its own scope, access arrangements, backup and acceptance checks. Your team can carry out the work, or Gloria can prepare a separate proposal.
To define the audit’s coverage and deliverables, see planning your technical SEO audit.
Questions about this service
An SEO tool reports many errors. Would an audit help?
The audit checks which alerts describe a real problem and which important pages are affected. An error repeated across one template may need a single correction; a long report does not necessarily mean many separate jobs.
We connect findings with your priorities: missing Google pages, visibility changes, slow loading or a planned redesign. The review helps you decide what to fix first and what to monitor.
What will my developer receive?
An action plan with example URLs, the observed problem, intended behaviour and checks after implementation. Priorities and dependencies are explained so the work can be organised.
Tool exports can provide supporting reference material. The main deliverable is the analysis that makes them useful, with a review to answer questions and separate confirmed errors from points requiring further investigation.
What access do you need?
A first review can use the public website and your description of the problem. Search Console helps analyse pages known to Google and changes in visibility. CMS, hosting or other data access is requested according to the agreed checks.
We specify the permissions needed before you share access. Full administrator rights are not automatically required for every analysis.
How are the audit’s price and timing determined?
URL volume, templates, languages, technology and the issues to investigate determine the work. A focused indexing check has a different scope from analysing a website with several complex functions.
The proposal identifies the areas reviewed, data sources, deliverables, review meeting and schedule. A check after implementation can be included at this stage.
Are corrections included, and who can implement them?
The proposal separates analysis and implementation. Your developer can carry out the plan, or Gloria can quote for corrections within its scope. Each intervention has defined access, dependencies and acceptance checks.
Follow-up checks that the identified problem is resolved, then observes the affected pages. Removing a technical obstacle does not guarantee a Google position or indexing date.
