Our method, before design
Roofer benchmarking and keywords: leaks, replacement and roof type
We examine competing roofers, local results and examples that detail assessment, repairs and renovation. The benchmark focuses on materials, services and reassuring information that can genuinely be substantiated. Your equipment, qualifications, areas and the value of desired projects then guide the content.
“Roof repair [town]”, “slate roof renovation” and “roof leak detection” are possibilities to check against your practice. We distinguish emergencies from planned projects without inventing immediate availability or concluding the cause of a leak before inspection. Advertised materials correspond to work you can undertake.
Pages explain the process, information to provide and limits of an initial conversation, with authorised photographs of work actually completed. We track suitable enquiries, visits and accepted quotes rather than general contact volume. Presented areas reflect your actual travel coverage. The quote defines the benchmark, keyword families and analysis depth; a standard website offer does not include exhaustive research into every locality and roofing technique.

In practice
Report a leak or plan roof replacement
Report a leak for assessment
Visitors find the types of work, service area and contact options. They can explain the observed problem without having to diagnose it.
Request roof replacement
Photographs and stages show how you prepare the work. The form collects building details, roof type and context to guide the visit.
Your starting point
Creation or redesign: content, functions and transfer of old pages
Creation: organise pages, content and contact
For a first website, we organise services, the service area and a selection of completed work. We prepare text explaining your scope in accessible language. Documents or qualifications you want to display are taken from information you supply and approve.
Redesign: transfer content and redirect old pages
During a redesign, we check services still offered, available photographs and old page URLs. The new organisation makes work easier to find. Useful redirects are prepared, and contact details and links are checked after launch.
Useful functions
Roofing pages, references and enquiry form
Pages for roof repairs, maintenance and replacement
One section can cover repairs while another presents more extensive replacement. Descriptions clarify limitations and information needed to consult you. Response times are displayed only when they reflect a commitment your business can actually meet.
Roofing projects with materials, work details and photographs
Completed projects can be grouped by work or materials involved. A short presentation explains your role and what was done. Adding new references can be planned within an editable website without rebuilding the entire gallery for each project.
Form with town, building and observed problem
The form can distinguish a work enquiry, maintenance and a problem to assess. Telephone contact remains accessible according to your response hours. A map or list of areas shows where you work without creating false offices or promises to travel beyond your area.
Practical questions
Questions about content, tools and website creation
Do we need drone photographs?
No. Usable, sufficiently clear photographs can already present your work. If you have other authorised views, they can enrich the references. Photography, video production or aerial imagery is not automatically included in website creation.
Can we advertise emergency work?
Yes, only according to your actual service and approved hours. The website should explain how to contact you and what can be confirmed during the call. It must not promise permanent availability or a precise response time simply to attract more enquiries.
Can I keep my old project pages?
Yes, if they remain useful and accurate. We examine their content and URLs before transfer. Where references are grouped or moved, corresponding links and redirects are planned within the scope; a large historical archive may require additional work.
Build the journey
Show a roof's context before the quote request
Pages can be organised by need: replacement, maintenance, investigation of a problem or work on a particular roof component. Each section specifies the materials and buildings involved according to your actual activity. Project examples benefit from explanations of the starting point, structure addressed and your work rather than a stack of roof photographs. A practical page describes preparation for a visit. It must not imply that a photograph alone establishes a roof's condition or replacement cost.
A concrete example
Example: reporting water ingress without knowing the source of the leak
In a fictional example, a homeowner notices a damp patch and does not know which service to choose. They find a section for problems requiring assessment, check the service area and contact you with a simple description. If they have a photograph taken from an accessible place, they can send it; the website does not ask them to climb onto the roof. The confirmation message explains what happens next. The journey therefore clearly distinguishes reporting a problem, inspecting the building and proposing work.
The first enquiry
Form: building, town and reason for the enquiry
The initial form can ask for the town, building type, reason for contact and a contact method. Roofing material remains optional if the customer does not know it. Preferred dates are relevant to planned renovation, less so to an initial report requiring a conversation first. An exact address can be collected later to organise the visit. We avoid fields that invite visitors to assess technical condition themselves. An incomplete enquiry should be sendable when essential information is present.
Define the budget
Form, visit booking and pricing: functions to assess
A brochure website can transmit these enquiries without adding scheduling software. Visit booking requires management of service areas, travel time and conditions that may alter a route. Automatic pricing per square metre would require assumptions about existing conditions and included work; it must not replace your quoting method. We distinguish an editable gallery, a form with attachments and an industry integration because each adds different checks to the website scope.
Prepare and check
Prepare roofing projects, photographs and verifiable qualifications
Gather authorised photographs, project descriptions and your service list. Before-and-after images should show an understandable comparison, with captions specifying what changed. Insurance and qualification information is supplied and approved by you. Illustrative images remain separate from your own references.
We check a replacement request, a problem report and a building outside your scope. The test verifies received messages, explanations for rejected files and the ability to continue without a photo. Call links must not advertise cover or availability the business does not provide.
The redesign also begins with an inventory of pages already known to customers. An old page about a material should not redirect to an unrelated service. We prepare consistent destinations and check links from project examples. In an editable version, the handover exercise can involve publishing a project with its context, then correcting practical information. You therefore know which data to change and which requires another discussion to maintain a reliable journey through to contact. We also check that photographs remain associated with the right service after a menu change.
