Our method, before design
Caterer benchmarking and keywords: weddings, receptions, corporate meals
We compare competing caterers, results in your area and examples explaining formats, guest numbers and logistics. The benchmark distinguishes corporate meals, private receptions and event services. Your capacity, operating locations and order value then determine which services to prioritise.
“Corporate cocktail caterer [city]”, “wedding buffet” or “meal tray delivery” are possibilities to verify according to your actual organisation. We examine intent, displayed results and information expected before a quote. A staffed service is not presented as simple delivery if its scope differs.
The study leads to format pages, menu examples and the briefing form, with authorised photos and explained quantities. KPIs track enquiries compatible with your dates and capacity, proposals sent and orders accepted. Dietary constraints are presented precisely, without unjustified promises. The quote specifies segment count and competitive analysis level; a standard package does not include unlimited benchmarking of every occasion.

In practice
Request a quote for a private or corporate reception
A private reception
The presentation shows formats and organisation. The enquiry gathers date, location and guest numbers to prepare a concrete conversation.
A corporate event
Services explain formats suited to businesses. The form specifies context, constraints and the contact person.
Your starting point
Creation or redesign: content, functions and transfer of old pages
Creation: organise pages, content and contact
We prepare a website presenting your services, cuisine and enquiry stages. Your photographs and real examples explain your offer, while a clear journey lets visitors specify their project before you contact them.
Redesign: transfer content and redirect old pages
We can reorganise offers that have become difficult to understand, replace documents hard to read on mobile and improve the form. Relevant content is retained, with attention to existing addresses and necessary redirects within the defined scope.
Useful functions
Quote form, menus and reception photos
Event quote request
A standard form can collect the information you need to respond. It does not automatically calculate a final quote: venue constraints, menu choices and necessary resources still need confirmation with your team.
Presentation of menus and formats
You can show proposal examples while distinguishing indicative elements from available offers. You approve compositions, prices and conditions so the presentation remains faithful to your activity and organisation.
Photos organised by reception type
Images of real setups and preparations can be grouped by event format. We add useful context when you can provide it, without inventing client references or implying a completed event can be reproduced identically.
Practical questions
Questions about content, tools and website creation
Can we provide an automatic quote?
An enquiry form is a standard feature. A calculation combining menus, guests, distances and staff becomes an operational tool: we must define its rules with you and quote it separately before promising a reliable amount.
Can we sell platters or boxes online?
Yes, if your products, availability and delivery rules can be managed by a standard solution. This involves an online shop or ordering service; platform, applications and payment fees are not included in a brochure website.
How do we update our seasonal proposals?
An editable version lets you edit the content agreed together. If your proposals change little, a static brochure website may be enough. The choice depends on your update frequency and desired independence, without charging for every generated page.
Build the journey
Separate events requiring a quote from standard orders
A caterer's website must distinguish services requiring a proposal from those that can be ordered directly. Pages can be organised by context: private reception, corporate event, platter delivery or in-home service, according to your offer. Each section specifies the format, your team's role and points to discuss. Example menus show your style without implying permanent availability. Logistics, service and equipment are explained with their actual scope because they change the enquiry as much as the choice of dishes.
A concrete example
Example: a business requests a reception quote
In a fictional example, a business is preparing a reception at a venue it has just booked. It consults a service format, discovers useful logistical questions and submits an initial enquiry. Your team then knows where the event takes place, how many people are expected and whether on-site service is wanted. The website does not turn menu selection into a firm date booking. The next step is to check possibilities and scope before a proposal. A recurring platter order follows a different journey if you offer it.
The first enquiry
Form: date, location, guest numbers and reception format
The event form can ask for a date or period, venue municipality, approximate guest numbers, desired format and contact. A free-text field lets people mention known constraints without imposing a questionnaire about every guest. Detailed dietary information is collected later through your appropriate procedure. An intended budget can remain optional, with the option to say it has not been decided. The final message summarises the enquiry and specifies that it needs examination; it must not announce that a date or team is reserved.
Define the budget
Event quotes or platter sales: two different features
A quote form differs from a platter shop. The latter needs a catalogue, quantities, possible minimums, delivery areas, slots and payment. A link to an existing tool may suffice if its rules are suitable. Integration or custom development requires testing impossible orders and quantity changes. We separate these features so the website reflects your operational capacity. A website creation offer must not silently include production, logistics or team availability management.
Prepare and check
Prepare menus, photos and ordering conditions
Prepare your formats, included or optional services, menu examples and ordering rules you apply. Photos must show quantities and presentation honestly, without suggesting decoration or equipment is always supplied. Event references are published only with the necessary permissions and your exact role.
Acceptance testing covers an event requiring a quote, a vague enquiry and a standard order if available. We check correct transmission of dates, quantities and locations. An area not served by delivery must be explained before any payment. Confirmations must use the same format names as the pages consulted.
For updates, seasonal menus and permanent services are not managed identically. We identify information to remove after a period and pages useful all year. A handover exercise involves replacing an example menu, then checking links from event pages. Old addresses shared in commercial proposals are also considered during a redesign. Visitors must find relevant information even if the catalogue has changed since the first conversation.
