French-speaking Belgium
Website creation and redesign in Belgium
A professional website for your French-speaking customers in Belgium. Present your services, business information and contact arrangements, with the languages relevant to your activity.

Our method, before design
Compare your competitors and research keywords in French and Dutch
We first define your target customers, services and service areas. The benchmark compares businesses those customers encounter, as well as useful examples of clear offers or journeys. A business in Wallonia, Brussels or Flanders does not automatically receive the same content or language choices.
Search-term research follows, separately where audiences justify it. “rénovation salle de bains [commune]” and “badkamerrenovatie [gemeente]” are, for example, possibilities to examine for a relevant business. A literal translation proves neither demand nor suitability of the service. Teams must also be able to handle enquiries in the advertised languages.
We then select appropriate pages, evidence, translations and actions: quotes, appointments or purchases. Tracking compares useful enquiries and their commercial outcomes by market where data allows. The quote defines the extent of this research; it implies neither fictional locations nor systematic versions for every town.

Display your contact details, business registration number and professional credentials
Do you work in Wallonia, Brussels or with French-speaking customers in Belgium? Gloria prepares your website creation or redesign around your activity and the enquiries you want to receive. Support takes place remotely, with a clear presentation of your services and a version to approve. Your website should reflect your business, contact details and service area without using administrative information copied from a French template.
Belgium's FPS Economy specifies the identification information that must be accessible, including on a brochure website. We plan places for the contact details and business registration number you supply, as well as relevant professional credentials. For a regulated profession, you confirm your titles and required notices. This preparation helps present your activity accurately; it does not replace examination of your specific obligations by your own adviser.
Your project · 02
Organise French and Dutch according to need
A website for French-speaking customers can start in French. If your business also serves Dutch-speaking customers, a consistent version is needed through to forms and confirmations. We define content to translate and update options. The objective is not to display several flags with incomplete pages, but to let each visitor understand the offer and receive a response in the advertised language.
Your project · 03
Make quotes, appointments or purchases easier
A tradesperson can request the locality and a description of the work; a garage, the required service; a restaurant can direct people to its menu and booking tool. We choose fields and buttons suited to those uses. For a shop, you supply the catalogue, delivery territories and commercial rules. Connections to a calendar, payment system or existing software are checked and priced according to their actual complexity.
Your project · 04
Plan content and URL transfer before the redesign
An old website may contain useful information despite an outdated appearance. We examine what should be transferred, corrected or removed, as well as URLs to retain and enquiries currently received. The new version is reviewed before switching over. Checks cover mobile screens, links and planned journeys. Content presents your actual territory; additional local pages are useful only if they offer distinct information.

Towns served, bilingual websites and existing tools: your questions
Can the website cover several towns?
Yes. We clearly state the areas you serve and any travel conditions. Separate pages can be considered for different services or needs. We avoid series of identical texts that change only the town name.
Is a bilingual website included in every offer?
The number of languages and translation work are specified in the quote. We also check forms, menus and messages that need to be available in each language. A complete bilingual journey requires different preparation from a simple French website.
Can I keep the tools I already use?
We start by examining your current booking system, catalogue or software. Where a standard integration meets the need, it can be retained. A custom connector or difficult data transfer is priced separately before any commitment to the scope.

A concrete example
A French and Dutch website with one consistent offer
Imagine a service provider based in Brussels that receives enquiries in French and Dutch but has a small team. Adding a complete translation without organising responses may create expectations it cannot meet. The starting point is therefore practical: which services can the team explain and support in each language?
Once this scope is defined, we connect each version to the same service, the same terms and the right contact. Someone viewing a service in Dutch should be able to switch language without losing that service. If an offer exists only in one language, we state this clearly rather than leaving an incomplete page.
This scenario is illustrative. For a business serving only French-speaking customers, a complete French website may be the appropriate choice. The commercial value of another language should be examined against your actual enquiries, area and team's capabilities.
Organise the versions
Services, languages and forms: the planning table for a bilingual website
Scroll the table horizontally to read all columns.
| Element | Decision to make | Useful check |
|---|---|---|
| Services | Choose names customers understand | The translation describes the same service |
| Form | Ask about the need and a way to respond | Errors and confirmation are understandable |
| Team | Define who handles each enquiry | The message reaches the intended person |
| Updates | Designate someone to review the versions | An important change appears everywhere |
This table reveals the work often overlooked behind a language button. Translation, review and connection to a booking tool can be separate tasks. We identify them before finalising the quote.
Your service menu remains the reference. We avoid multiplying versions of a price or condition across files no one knows how to maintain.
Actionable enquiries
Town, service and contact details: ask for what helps you respond
For a tradesperson working in Wallonia or Brussels, knowing the town may be enough to check the service area before requesting a full address. For a retailer, the need may simply concern availability or an appointment. We choose fields according to this first decision rather than a standard form identical for every business.
An example initial enquiry brings together the required service, locality and contact method. An additional question appears only if it helps your team: type of work, relevant shop or preferred language. People should also understand what happens next, especially when submitting an enquiry rather than making a confirmed booking.
Formats are tested with Belgian contact details. If you serve customers from abroad, they must be able to use their own number. Displayed administrative information comes from your business; it is not automatically reused from a template intended for the French market.
Redesign and budget
Check booking links, forms and language switches
An old website may already direct visitors to a calendar, catalogue or quote request. Before replacing it, we record these destinations and examine what the new tool genuinely adds. Keeping a functioning calendar avoids unnecessarily moving appointments and changing team habits.
Three levels are compared: a link to the tool, embedding it where supported or automatic data transmission. The final option requires checks of connection possibilities and error handling. The software provider's fees remain separate from website work.
Final acceptance follows an enquiry in French and then, where planned, in the other language. It checks the service, telephone number, receipt and links from the old website. Corrections are grouped with their context so you know what changed and can subsequently develop the website without creating two contradictory offers.

Lawyers and notaries in Belgium: check your professional body's advertising rules
The project first identifies the professional body with which you are registered. AVOCATS.BE and the Orde van Vlaamse Balies have distinct frameworks; notaries follow their own code. Translations, presented cases, reviews and campaigns are examined in that context, without importing a French rule.
The texts, articles and implications for the website are presented in our Belgium guide for lawyers and notaries, with official sources, including AVOCATS.BE — Code of Professional Conduct in force as of 30 April 2026.
