Our method, before design
Restaurant benchmarking and keywords by cuisine, occasion and neighbourhood
Preparation studies genuinely competing restaurants, local results and examples that make menus easy to read and tables easy to book. The benchmark examines visit occasions, hours and the culinary offer. Your cuisine, capacity, services and booking value guide the pages to develop.
“Lunch restaurant [neighbourhood]”, “group restaurant [city]” or “vegetarian restaurant” are possibilities to verify according to your actual offer. We examine intent without attributing a positioning the restaurant does not deliver. A speciality or availability must be confirmable by the menu and team.
The analysis guides the menu, booking, groups and practical information, with real photos of dishes and premises. We track completed bookings, group enquiries and useful calls when tools allow, accounting for opening days. Local content remains linked to your location. The quote sets benchmark and keyword scope without turning standard website creation into a permanent audit of all local restaurants.

In practice
Book a table or enquire about hosting a group

Request a group booking
An entry point explains available formats and collects date, party size and context to prepare your response.
Your starting point
Creation or redesign: content, functions and transfer of old pages
Creation: organise pages, content and contact
We prepare a website centred on your cuisine, menu and welcome. It can present a booking link, standard form or phone contact according to your practices, with practical information organisation on desktop and mobile.
Redesign: transfer content and redirect old pages
A redesign can replace an unreadable menu, reduce image weight and bring useful information together. We retain what remains relevant and check links to booking or ordering tools, with planned redirects if addresses change.
Useful functions
Editable menu, booking and group enquiries
A menu you can update at your own pace
If your dishes or menus change often, an editable version can simplify updates. We define editable information with you to maintain a consistent presentation without imposing a complex tool for a few regular changes.
Booking with your current solution
A link or module can connect the website to your booking tool. Its subscription remains separate. Specific management of tables, deposits or availability requires checking available features before confirming scope.
Group and private-hire enquiries
Private hire, groups or events can have a tailored enquiry journey. The form collects useful context, such as the intended date and party size, then lets your team confirm possibilities and conditions.
Practical questions
Questions about content, tools and website creation
Is online ordering included in a brochure website?
A brochure website can link to your ordering service. A basket and payment belong to an e-commerce project or dedicated integration. Platform and payment provider fees are specified as additional costs.
Can we keep our current booking system?
Yes, if your solution supports a compatible link or integration. We check the journey through to the chosen tool. Changing the website does not automatically mean replacing your booking arrangements or taking out a new subscription.
Who provides photos and menu information?
You provide or approve visuals, dishes, prices and practical information. We can help structure and reword them, but do not create fake dishes, reviews or photographs presented as your restaurant's own.
Build the journey
An accessible menu and an unambiguous choice of visit
A restaurant website's organisation depends on the decisions clients need to make: discover the food, consult the menu, book a table or prepare a group enquiry. The menu can be published as readable text, with a downloadable document as a useful supplement. A menu image alone makes browsing difficult on phones and updates harder. Practical information specifies services actually offered: lunch, dinner, terrace, takeaway or private hire. A dining-room photograph must not imply a space can be booked if that option does not exist.
A concrete example
Example: booking for a group beyond the usual booking process
Fictional example: someone organises a dinner for several guests. They consult the menu, then understand which types of request require an initial conversation. If the group falls outside the usual booking journey, the website routes it to a specific enquiry. Your team receives context and can check possibilities before confirming. Visitors must not book several small tables believing they automatically obtain one group table. Confirmation distinguishes a received enquiry from a booking actually entered in your schedule.
The first enquiry
Group form: date, number of guests and occasion
For a group enquiry, a date or period, approximate number of guests, occasion and contact may be enough. Particular needs can be mentioned without requesting detailed personal information about every participant at this stage. Dietary questions are handled with your team according to your organisation; the website must not produce automatic assurance from a ticked box. For a standard table, we avoid an intermediate form if your booking tool already collects necessary data. Less duplicate entry also makes handling easier for reception.
Define the budget
Table booking or takeaway ordering: features to quote
A link to your current booking system retains its rules. Integration requires testing availability, cancellation and return to the website. Takeaway ordering adds product selection, quantities, slots, payment and handling of unavailable items. It represents a different scope from an online menu. We specify third-party tool costs and conditions separately from development work. A website can also start with a menu and booking, then evolve towards ordering when your organisation knows how to prepare, confirm and hand over purchases.
Prepare and check
Prepare the menu and test bookings, groups and updates
You provide current menus, service hours, visitor information and authorised photos of your dishes and spaces. Visuals must match what clients can actually find. We identify who can remove a dish, change a set menu and update exceptional hours so this information does not depend on a single fixed image.
Acceptance testing follows an ordinary booking, a group enquiry and a closed day. We check received messages, consistent hours and menu readability. If ordering is planned, tests include an unavailable product and a payment error, without confusing a started basket with a confirmed order.
During a redesign, QR codes already on tables, menus and printed materials are listed. A new structure must not make them unusable. The handover exercise can involve changing a dish, its price and service hours, then checking the display on a phone. Translations are also reviewed when the menu changes: leaving an old version in another language creates contradictory information. An editable version should make this routine work easier rather than add sections nobody has time to maintain.
