Our method, before design

Compare competing salons and your customers' hairdressing searches

We first study salons your customers may compare based on where they live or work. Service menus, photos, opening hours, access information and booking simplicity all affect that choice. International examples can help present a specialism, but the chosen positioning must remain consistent with your team and its services.

We then examine searches in the languages actually used. “coiffeur [commune]” and “hair salon Luxembourg” illustrate two possible intents to investigate; they alone are not enough to decide that a website should be entirely bilingual. The selected language must remain usable through to the booking calendar and confirmation.

This research determines service pages, images to produce and practical information to repeat consistently. Tracking distinguishes opening the calendar from a confirmed booking, then observes requested services if your tools allow it. The quote defines the analysis and languages; no additional address is created to attract searches in neighbouring areas.

In practice

Cut or colour: two ways to guide clients towards booking

Choose a haircut and find the booking link

Visitors discover your style and services, then go to the relevant appointment. Photos and the service menu help them express what they want.

Prepare for colouring or balayage before the appointment

The page explains your approach, options and useful steps before booking. You can arrange initial contact when a consultation is necessary.

Scope

Service menu, booking and salon information

Service menu and booking terms

Services, salon prices, indicative durations and details to know before an appointment. Displayed terms are those you approve and your tool can enforce.

The right calendar, the right address

Buttons are linked to your account and the relevant location. Advanced integration or synchronisation is assessed and quoted separately; the booking subscription remains separate.

Content in the selected languages

Navigation, services and important messages are planned together. Additional versions cover the chosen needs, with appropriate review, rather than translations left unmaintained.

Your project · 01

Choose the languages that genuinely serve your salon

Multilingualism is part of everyday life in Luxembourg, but that does not mean every salon needs to launch four versions. We start with your customers' languages and those spoken by your team. An English version can, for example, help explain differences between a haircut, styling and colour techniques. Names, terms and the booking journey must remain consistent. Translation and review are included in the quote's scope; a flag should not lead to an incomplete journey.

Your project · 02

Present a clear service menu in euros

Guichet.lu states that consumer prices must be readable, expressed in euros and include taxes. We use your approved menu, distinguishing what each service includes: shampoo, cut, styling or technical service. If the price depends on length, time or a consultation, visitors should understand that condition before choosing. Website prices are checked against your salon menu and booking platform to avoid three contradictory presentations.

Your project · 03

Make appointments easier to fit into a busy schedule

For someone passing the salon before or after work, exact hours and indicative duration matter. We organise access information: address, neighbourhood, stop or parking you confirm. Example journey: a maintenance haircut leads to your calendar; a major colour change first invites a consultation. Lunchtime or evening slots are highlighted only if they exist. The website does not create availability different from your tool's.

Your project · 04

Distinguish locations and introduce your team

If you operate several salons, each address must lead to the right calendar, hours and staff. For a single salon, a concise introduction to the team and its specialisms may suffice. We use photos you are entitled to publish, with useful context rather than an anonymous gallery. Product or gift-card sales form a separate journey: payment, delivery, use and any till tracking are defined before proposing a solution.

Your project · 05

Preserve booking links, content and languages during the redesign

We examine existing languages, pages known to your customers and links from social networks or directories. Useful URLs are retained or redirected according to the project; outdated contact details are corrected. A preview version lets your team review the website and check the mobile journey. Advanced booking functions, data migration and translations affect the quote. Page count alone does not determine implementation cost.

Practical questions

Questions about booking, online sales, domains and hosting

What budget should a salon plan for?

A simple brochure website starts at €290 excluding VAT; an editable version or standard redesign at €590 excluding VAT. A standard shop starts at €990 excluding VAT. Languages, integrations and complex transfers are defined in the quote according to the actual work.

Do we need online sales to take appointments?

No. A button linking to your existing calendar may suffice. Deposits or gift cards depend on the capabilities of the chosen service. We distinguish this simple link from a shop or customised payment and booking management.

Are the domain and hosting included?

You buy and renew the domain through your own account; help with the initial connection is planned. You pay for hosting on a compatible account, or Gloria manages it as a separate option. Booking and payment subscriptions remain separate.

Official guidance for your information

First-visit example

A new customer needs to understand your salon in the chosen language

Imagine someone who has recently moved to Luxembourg and is looking for a salon for a colour service. She discovers your style in English, but the detailed service menu and booking instructions remain only in French. She may like the photos while remaining unsure which appointment to book and whether she can communicate with the team.

We would organise a journey that states the languages genuinely available, explains priority services and leads to the right action. A service requiring a preliminary conversation retains that stage in every version. Staff introductions can specify their specialisms and the languages in which they can support the visit, using information you approve.

This fictional scenario does not assume every salon must offer several languages. It helps choose those that serve your customers and that your team can support. A complete, maintained version is better than a choice of languages leading to unfinished pages.

Prepare for the visitAddress, directions and relevant instructionsThe confirmation does not contradict the website

If the software does not support the desired language, we explain that limitation before choosing a solution. A custom integration is not assumed necessary: a clearly presented link may already meet the need.

Translations, reviews and service-menu changes are organised around an approved version so offers do not diverge after a few updates.

An accurate picture of the salon

Present hairstyles, the team, opening hours and directions to the salon

An elegant website should also let people recognise the salon they will visit. A selection of authorised photographs can show the space, team and work corresponding to the advertised specialisms. Each image benefits from a connection to a specific service rather than a general beauty promise.

Access information is prepared with your salon: entrance, nearby stop, parking or a location-specific feature, only when confirmed. The contact number and form must remain usable for someone with a foreign telephone number. International customers do not justify asking for more fields.

For an event service, the first enquiry can specify the type of service, proposed date and a contact method. It confirms no availability. For a regular haircut, the booking calendar is often more appropriate. We separate these needs so contact supports your day-to-day organisation.

Redesign and independent management

Test a regular customer, a new customer and a language switch

A regular customer should quickly find the calendar and their salon. A new customer should understand the offer before booking. Someone changing language should remain on the service they were viewing. These three journeys provide a more precise basis for checking than a simple opinion about the homepage's appearance.

We also record old URLs used in your materials. The redesign preserves or redirects relevant journeys, and links to salon software are tested on mobile. If editing access is planned, you try a representative price, opening-hour or photo change.

Product sales, a gift-voucher system or till integration are needs to define separately. The quote specifies their functions and the third-party services involved. You can therefore launch a website suited to your salon, then add a commercial function once its operation and cost are clearly established.
