Our method, before design

Landscaper benchmarking and keywords: garden creation, maintenance and patios

We study comparable landscapers, local results and examples that distinguish design, construction and maintenance. The benchmark examines explanations of projects, areas and process. Your skills, equipment, service areas and commercial priorities help select services to develop.

“Garden landscaping [town]”, “garden maintenance contract” and “landscaper patio construction” are possibilities to check against the actual offer. A search around a technique or material is selected only if you offer it. We examine visible intents and results without inventing quantified demand.

The research guides pages, project examples and useful information before a visit. Authorised photographs show completed work in context without turning inspiration images into references. KPIs track relevant enquiries, visits and accepted quotes; recurring contracts are distinguished from one-off work. Advertised areas reflect your travel coverage. The quote specifies the extent of benchmarking and research rather than implicitly including unlimited analysis in standard website creation.

In practice

Request landscaping or garden maintenance

Create or redesign a garden

Visitors discover projects by use and atmosphere. The enquiry gathers an indicative area, wishes and constraints before the visit.

Maintain a garden

The journey presents the operations and areas covered. Customers can specify a one-off or recurring need.

Your starting point

Creation or redesign: content, functions and transfer of old pages

Creation: organise pages, content and contact

To create the website, we organise your services and select projects that illustrate them. We prepare content connected to your working method and the projects you want. An editable version can allow portfolio or practical-information updates according to the planned uses.

Redesign: transfer content and redirect old pages

A redesign can clarify an offer where maintenance, design and construction were mixed together. We review useful content and old URLs before changing navigation. Photographs are reorganised with explanations, and discontinued services or areas are corrected to present the business as it operates today.

Useful functions

Garden portfolio, maintenance contracts and form

A portfolio organised by project

Projects can be grouped by use or landscaping type you offer. Each example states your contribution and publishable details. We distinguish images of a design, completed work and a simple illustration to avoid creating a false reference.

An understandable maintenance offer

Possible services and their organisation can be explained using your terms. Recurring services are distinguished from one-off needs. The website does not promise an available schedule or response time that your team has not confirmed.

Form with plot details, intended uses and desired maintenance

The form can specify location, type of space and project objective. If photos are useful, receiving them can be planned within the scope. Automatic estimates and interactive design tools are different functions from a simple quote request.

Practical questions

Questions about content, tools and website creation

Should all my services appear on one page?

The structure depends on what visitors need to understand, not a page quota. Distinct services can have their own presentation when they provide useful information. We also avoid artificially separating closely related services that would benefit from being explained together.

Can I show a project in images before it is built?

Yes, if its nature is explicit: study, proposal or visualisation. Visitors must be able to distinguish it from a completed project. You supply the files and necessary rights; producing plans or design visuals is not automatically included in the website.

How do I update completed projects?

An editable version can provide a simple entry with photos, title and work description. We define the information to complete and show you how to publish it. This maintains a consistent presentation without rebuilding the whole site structure for each addition.

Build the journey

Explain how a garden is used, not only how it looks

A garden is also chosen according to how it will be used and maintained. Projects can therefore be classified by intention: create a relaxing area, organise circulation, rework an existing outdoor space or simplify maintenance. Each entry explains the context, constraints considered and your work. Maintenance services have a separate journey from new garden projects. The website should specify whether you design, build, maintain or combine these activities. A photograph of a mature garden must not imply that newly planted work will immediately look the same.

A concrete example

Example: a family wants to turn its garden into a living space

Fictional example: a family wants to turn an underused outdoor area into a living space. They discover a comparable project, understand circulation choices and maintenance constraints, then describe their intended uses. The form does not immediately ask them to choose plant species or quantities. Your conversation can then cover the plot, time available for maintenance and possible project stages. The website therefore prepares a discussion about living in the garden without confusing an inspiration photograph with a plan or works proposal.

The first enquiry

Form: garden use, area and one-off or regular maintenance

For a new garden, the town, intended use, approximate area if known and contact details may suffice. For maintenance, the type of space and one-off or recurring nature guide the enquiry better. An optional photograph helps establish the need; a cadastral plan need not be mandatory for first contact. Access information can be requested later to prepare a visit. Conditional fields avoid showing maintenance-contract questions to someone seeking a complete design.

Define the budget

Gallery, visit calendar and contract tracking: functions to price

A structured gallery and two enquiry journeys may suffice to begin. A visit calendar must account for service areas and travel; an open slot is not always compatible with a route. A contract-tracking area adds access permissions and a different organisation. A garden configurator would require rules about structures and the plot's actual possibilities. We prefer to define the need before developing an impressive function whose results would be too approximate to help your quote.

Prepare and check

Prepare garden photographs and test design, maintenance and contact journeys

Prepare views at different stages, information about use, planned maintenance and your exact contribution to each project. Photo dates distinguish handover from the garden's development. Seasonal offers have a designated updater so a temporary service does not remain offered long after its useful period.

Acceptance testing follows a new garden enquiry, a maintenance request and a project outside your area. We check that the correct fields appear and attachments remain optional. On mobile, galleries should make the project understandable even when an image is slow to load or cannot be displayed.

To enrich the website later, documenting a project and its decisions is better than creating several almost identical pages bearing only different town names. A local project can show concrete context without claiming a permanent presence in every neighbourhood. In an editable version, the handover exercise involves adding a project and changing a seasonal service. We check that enquiry links remain suited to the offer and that images of an existing garden do not accidentally become the representation of a project yet to be built.
